April Showers Bring…Great Deals on AWD Vehicles at Berman’s Auto Group

As Chicagoans, we’re quite used to driving when weather conditions are less than ideal, such as now, in April. That helps explain why all-wheel drive cars and SUVs have become increasingly popular in this region. After all, who wouldn’t want four wheels working, instead of just two, to better grip a super slick road? Power coming simultaneously from all four wheels gives you greater control of your vehicle, providing that extra boost of confidence as you drive through any snow, hail, sleet or rainstorm feeling safe and secure.

Subaru put the first AWD car on the road more than 40 years ago and has since made AWD technology — together with high-quality performance, dependability and an easy-on-the-wallet price tag — synonymous with the brand. It’s really no surprise then that Subaru models dominate Kelley Blue Book’s (KBB) 2015 list of “10 Best All-Wheel Drive Vehicles Under $25,000.” Indeed, they occupy the top five slots…#1-Outback, #2-Forester, #3-Legacy, #4-Impreza and #5-the XV Crosstrek. In addition to AWD capability at an affordable price point, each vehicle also enjoys excellent resale value and long-term ownership potential. No wonder they sell like hot cakes!

Joining these Subarus on the list is Nissan’s hot selling 2015 Rogue AWD. KBB editors selected the Rogue due to its available third row seat and “attractive feature set,” such as the “very helpful” Around View Monitor, heated seats and NissanConnectSM with navigation and mobile apps. A top Nissan executive nicely sums up why the Rogue AWD and others like it are selling so well: “In what has been a brutal 2014 to 2015 winter for many across the country, the importance of having a reliable all-wheel drive vehicle is as high as ever.”

To test drive the Rogue or another Nissan AWD vehicle, such as the stunning 2015 Murano S, visit Berman’s Star Nissan or Mid City Nissan. There’s some great deals on offer through the end of April, so you don’t want to miss out!
